Title: 0% Balance Transfer Credit Cards..
Post by: DarloSTFC84 on Sunday, December 16, 2018, 10:30:17
So.. a colleague of mine has just asked me something I literally know nothing about (which is a shock)..

Can you use a 0% balance transfer credit card to pay off both an existing credit card debt AND you overdraft(s) or is it just for your Credit Card?

Having never had one, I don't know how they work (and I'm not sure why they thought I would)..

So here I am at the font of all knowledge trying to get the information she desires..

Will probably depend who the credit card and overdraft is with. I would say it’s unlikely you’d be able to pay off the overdraft though.

They call them money transfers I think.

Yes you need one offering a 0% money transfer. Apparently they don't count as a cash withdrawal on your credit file.
