Title: New Manager Thread
Post by: Sir red ken on Saturday, November 17, 2018, 18:11:03
Well bellends has started worse than PB and by christmas we'll be right in the brown stuff. So who can save us using free transfers and loans in Jan? I'm starting this ahead of the inevitable search for next manager appointed by LP. I know they'll be fans who rage about only one game but if we get dicked by a heavy score, in the next match, then this post will be all the rage. Names please gentlemen!

As Mrs Audrey keeps telling me, it’s not how you start it’s how you finish.

We have some players but no team. It’s all square pegs and round holes. Nothing fits.

I’ve no real idea what Brown was doing but to have 1 shit winger and about 8 central midfielders and 3 strikers who can’t seem to buy a goal is crazy.

yeah I've had it with this SRK guy, he sits in his big country house and offers no solutions.
We've got some proper twats on this site and he's by far the biggest.

I was reading on another forum that Notts County have interviewed Paul Hurst, Paul Heckinbottom and possibly Neil Ardley.

I can't help but think that all 3 of those are probably a wiser option than Wellens. It wouldn't surprise me if we finish below Notts this season.

I bet whoever they appoint doesn't last the season.

You could double that bet and include the manager of STFC. If he looses any of the next 3 games then questions will be asked.

Not a bad shout to be honest.

Someone with as credible a recent history as Hurst or Ardley shouldn't be hell bent on taking the first job that crops up, within days of being sacked. They're bound to have enough credibility to be offered something by a more stable lower league club during the coming months.

I suppose one way of looking at the Notts job is that there's plenty of scope for improvement, but history suggests that unless said improvement is immediate they'll pull the trigger again.

Recently WB pointed out that Cheltnumb away is our penultimate game.... perhaps an even more terrifying thought is that Notts is our last game.
