Title: Bourton on the Water Pubs
Post by: Chubbs on Friday, May 25, 2018, 10:14:37
Another request...

Taking the family to Bourton on the water tomorrow and were hoping to find a nice pub for dinner.

Depending on time either in Bourton on the water or anywhere on the way back to Swindon.

Try the Kingsbridge by the river a Marstons pub. Good size beer garden and cheap beer when I have been.

The Trout at Lechlade.
It's a pub, though I did once go out with a 'bloater' from those parts.

The  Lamb. Cracking food. Haven't visited in a while so may have changed...

Edit:

Looks like it's still pretty good. Checked the menu and they do the Ox Cheek, which is pretty damn good. You might like to know Chubbs, they do "Steak Wednesdays" for £10 :)

Ended up eating here as its what was closest at the time and the kids were getting Hangry.

Nothing special but hit the spot. Had a really decent burger with pulled pork and the kids were happy and was reasonable priced too. The 4 of us ate for around 30 quid with drinks
