Title: Average Wages Post by: Posh Red on Monday, May 14, 2018, 12:24:58 There is a story in the Peterborough ET today comparing the average wages that Peterborough paid compared to the rest of League 1.
So I thought I’d check the site they got the info from (footy.com) to see what ours was and how it compared in League 2. According to the site our average players wage is £1381, which ranks us 5th in L2. It would rank us 19th in L1. Ironically Accrington were 24th with an average of £635. & Luton top on £2101. Yes, very true. One of the above broke sweat over the course of the season, the other one didn't. The former definitely makes sense, the latter less so.
Obviously FM isn't all knowing on financial matters, but I'd imagine they at least do some research into that kind of thing.
