 Colchester might be a bit of a footballing backwater, but it has a long history of spectator sport, boasting Britain's only Roman Circus.... a bit like the Abbey Stadium only huge and for chariot racing, not dogs and speedway

What a sh1ty state of affairs, a realy bad season from a club that poorly run and underfunded. What happended to us when it looked like we'd get back to back promotions. I heartliy apologise for not commenting on the game, for my sins I watched St Johnstone v Partick, which was probably as dull as this game appears to have been!

I chose wisely to miss this one it seems!

Oh and Miles Storey didn't get on the pitch so that shows how bad he must be now as the rest of Particks forwards were shocking.

Scotland is odd. Brechin have gone the entire season without a win. the chairman is keeping the manager because he's a good motivator!

No excuses,  as far as this season goes, already said,  don't give a fuck, but will still be there Saturday.

I'm a 10/12 game a season out of towner.  If I am there on Saturday it will be to pay genuine respect to Accrington Stanley FC and their fans. 

Talking of Accrington fans, they could well be one of the poorest supported (by average attendance) home and away of any team ever to have won the championship of this division.

Thats quite an achievement to do it on such a low budget.

Last week they had their record attendance at the Wham stadium of 4,753 with 1,800 of those being Lincoln fans.

It would probably only take one sponsorship from Arla, a clever remake of a classic Milk advert*, and Ian Rush for several to fall in love with Accrington Stanley once again. Thinking about it, McDonald's could take advantage of this to promote their ermm healthy range!


*I know there is a Sport Relief version but that doesn't mention Accy
