Not sure yet, I have to see how much chicken is left. There's likely to be some ham and cheese involved as well depending on how much chicken there is. And mustard. Or branston.

Well, that was not looking good for a while. A bit touch and go.

It turned out that I was being far too optimistic on the chicken front. There was basically nothing left at all, so that wasn't a goer. To compound the situation further, it turned out that the only cheese we have is processed cheese. I was sure that there was some cheddar in there. I was actually considering processed cheddar and branston, things were looking bleak.

Thankfully, though, I was being pessimistic on the ham front and it turns out that there was enough for two respectable sandwiches. Which I was not expecting. Whacked that in, with plenty of mustard (Colmans, of course), and the job's a good'un.

It was a bit of a close call, but I pulled through in the end.

It was recently announced that Unilever, a multi national is closing the traditional Colman's Carrow site in Norwich, home of mustard for so many years.

I guess it's probably the only way you get mustard in Thailand, but I look at other mustard sources these days.

Tracklements, out at Easton Grey is good.

Nothing wrong with processed cheese in the right context

Recently I have been chucking in a hash brown to liven up a meaty cheesey sandwich. Excellenty.

Dirty cheese is what burgers are made for, the dirtier the better - Asda basics is often my filth of choice in such situations....

I like French mustard as much as English.

I wouldn't go that far, but it's not bad.

Far better than that American stuff. What the fuck is that all about?

It's a mood thing...sometimes English feels right sometimes French.

I'm not sure I've ever had American... I tend to avoid American imports as far as possible

I do love my cheese. But cheap, plastic cheese is the only cheese for a burger, or a hotdog for that matter.

Its the type of cheese you would go home with after a night out, but not take home to meet your mum!

My misses calls it plastic cheese, so either my misses has the brain of a 4 year old. Or your little’un has the brain of a 31 year old woman (she is a hairdresser mind)  :D

With the inexorable rise of militant veganism there might come a time when the humble slice of cheese comes under threat.

A more likely future scenario is the kiddies coming home from school eager to find out which particular insect is on the menu as the main source of protein.

So you should be and it seems like a few others need to go as well. Perverts.

There's always a place for both sides.
One will enjoy not having milk whilst wishing their fucking chalk tasks like cheese

Get yourselves some sodium citrate of the internets. Stabalises melted cheese to stop it splitting, means you can make your own cheese slices out of any combo of cheese that you like with that creamy plastic melty texture.

These are already available in Tesco/Asda/Morrisons etc.
