You may be thinking of Jordan Simpson (Fitzroy's son), who joined Forest Green in the summer on a 2 year deal. When town beat FGR last week, Simpson could be seen running up and down the county ground pitch at full time - must have been an unused sub? They would have been recruited under the previous regime.
