Then considering the highly scientific and empirical epistemology of this poll I hope you ticked one of the other options, FH.

Yes, still have a season ticket & tend to go to local(ish) away games

First season in 10 years without a season ticket, not because of Power, Williams, shit football.
Purely because of family priorities and money. Been to four games this season.

Oh, and I have two cats, neither of which are called Mittens.

I want to go more often, but when I do I just end up wishing I hadn’t.

I used to be an avid home and away fan and I honestly can’t believe how take it or leave it I’ve become.

I’m a bad fan

Slight travel issues get in the way these days.

Oddly though, thanks to iFollow I have watched all bar one league game this season.  It used to be so much easier to avoid it!

I actually ticked the first one. I know I don't go but if it were not for certain logistical challenges, I would go as often as I could. So I do go as often as I can...

I go to a few games a season but find my interest in the club dwindling more and more every season

Still have a season ticket but probably only go to 10 games at most due to a combination of still playing on Saturdays and not really enjoying watching us this season.

Still will renew every year as had the same seat since the DRS opened and just see it as doing my bit even if I don’t go.

Season ticket holder for many years now . Too long in the tooth to stop so one of those sad cases that will go on till I drop (as the song goes) or the club folds. I certainly think we’ve had worse than what is being served up now !

I used to always make a game when I was back, but I've been living here over a year now and I still haven't been. I keep meaning to, things just get in the way, although I'm often relieved come 5pm on a Saturday.

Ha, I had the same seat for several years, second row from the back, column U or Y.

When I came back in 2007 I started going as regularly as I could (fitting in around a freelance job) this usually meant a lot at the start of the season, a couple in oct to dec, all of them after christmas and during Jan and then as and when until the end of the season.

This year Ive been 3 times.  Exeter, Newport and Luton.  Ive had the chance to go more but its not as appealing as it has been.  Its pretty poor at home.  Bad football.  Im sure the excitement will re-appear at some point.

I have a season ticket with my lads.

it used to be inconceivable to not go at every opportunity, but I certainly see I may not have continued to turn up last year had it not been for the boys.

oddly, this year I've enjoyed it more even though the quality of football is piss poor. guess it's because we have a fair chance of winning - though it's not worked out that way at home.

Season ticket holder. On-field stuff doesn't influence my decision about renewing.
Three away games so far this season (I used to go to most pre-parenthood).
One cat.

I go to as many at home as I can but it's just as much a day on the piss with the lads as the football...that's the glue.

Done most at home and Yeovil...plan to do Wycombe and Stevenage away as I can wangle it with work.

Maybe even Cov this Saturday.

Selected first option because it's true but so is the last one. League 2 football is not enjoyable most of the time but I feel a compulsion to go. Poor home form has persuaded me to abandon plans to attend 3 away games this season, Luton, Mansfield and Crewe and there's a pattern emerging there. Will be definitely be at Cov and Lincoln though.

Much the same as this apart from my playing days being long gone.  I keep the season ticket partly out of loyalty/supporting the club and partly because on the rare occasions when I go I still get to sit with my mates without any hassle.

Wife has a dog.

I’d not been to a game all season for various reasons until the opportunity arose on Boxing Day. What a game to pick, hey. My 3 year old twin girls do ask if they can go to watch “Red Army”  as they are known in our house, they have no idea how bored they’d be. I’ll wait to try on a warmer late spring day. I imagine we’ll last about 15 minutes  :D

I still go all home games bar the JPT abomination. Been 2 way. Will do another couple before season ends. Despite the football being crap I'm enjoying it more than last season which I still can't believe was allowed to happen. Saying that last season was the pits in over 40 years of watching. Even Beamish side had some fight, they were just crap.
I will keep going whether we get promoted or not and whether the style of football remains. Its what I do.
My kids have a rabbit, was 2 but 1 died last year.

Used to have a ST but now only go 2/3/4 games a season.  Lost my Mojo about 3 or 4 years ago and it is yet to come back.  I think it was around the time the club stopped communicating, even though many on here said that nothing had changed.  It has got better since but I am still very much Meh.  I still listen to games, when I can, and keep up to date with the news, still the first result I look for, but fear I will never get my previous mojo back..

I go when I am in the area and will pick a few games home (240 mile round trip) and away to go to but with my health I prefer at the moment to watch on iFollow from Holland or the USA.

I went on Saturday, it was cold and a bit shit but we won and at the moment thats all that matters.

Have a season ticket, get to most home games, but usually miss midweek games as my lad has training on a Tuesday evening so that takes priority. Struggle to get to away games, again because my lad plays Saturday morning.

I go and will continue to go, because like CS said, it's what I do and because I like the fellas we sit with but it quite often feels more like an obligation than anything. I've quite enjoyed the "Rockin Robin attempts to decapitate local teens as they slide around on the pitch in trainers" at half time thing though. I'm sure it will get better once we've slogged our way out of League 2 and can resume setting League 1 alight with the "Swindon Way" :)

Go to several home games a season.  We're just over an hour from Swindon, so it's a good distance for a 'day out'.  The boys (aged 9 & 8 ) still seem to love it, although I do wonder whether they're sometimes just humouring their Dad...having been made well aware by all their Chelsea/Arsenal-supporting pals at school that Swindon are rubbish.  Both had Town shirts for Christmas and both still keen without being obsessive.  The challenge will be to keep it going.  Not the easiest task when recent history has been as threadbare as ours.

I've even started taking them to the odd away game.  We've been to two this season, and won both 3-0 (at Luton & PV).

Also I actually do have a cat called Mitten. No s though, which is important according to my wife.

Not set foot in the 'Theatre of Misery' this century, but try to get to 1-2 away games in 'norvern shitholes' ((c) R Smeaton/D Trump) each season if I can, although not this season due to the weather and the ficture computer!

I don't go anymore. Have no desire to return. I wouldn't call myself a fan either, as if you live in the same town as your team and don't go you're not a fan in my opinion. I like to remember the good times and follow the results-news etc but don't have much interest really.

My grandad hasn't missed a home game out of choice since the late 50s, started taking me as a young lad, gave me the bug and have had a season ticket for the last 13 years or so, the footballs crap at the moment but I still enjoy going on a Saturday and can't see that changing any time soon

Had a season ticket for years and stopped when do canio joined for much publicised reasons. Have only been to the theatre of meh once since for the whits day.

Go away here and there. Been to Luton and Crewe this year both 3-0 so maybe you should club together and pay for me to go more often. Might be at Stevenage

I've never lived in Swindon so since moving back to the UK from Luxembourg I pick and choose the games. I did have 1 season where I bought a ST, but the train costs from London to Swindon most weekends added up and I have more important things to spend my hard earned on.

I do enjoy meeting up with my dad pre-game for lunch and the football is generally a non-event. But I have got to the stage in my life where I am not actually that bothered if Swindon lose anymore. It used to ruin my evenings but nowadays by the time I step out at Paddington, its been completely forgotten.

Still go. Season ticket holder. 174 mile round trip across the Bridge to each game. Can't remember the last home game I missed in the league. Can't be far off 15 years now! Have boycotted the FLT since last season though & won't go again until the U23's are no longer invited. If they ever bring them into the Football League that'll be me done.

Got a season ticket this year, having previously always paid on the day - attending on average 20 home games a  season and about 6 away.  This year the standard is pretty poor, more typical league 2 type football than we have been used to but if it gets us up then job done. Still enjoy the matchday experience though, the build up, a couple of drinks in the Merlin and the comradarie. Would miss it if I didn't attend but I do understand why some choose not to go and once the habit is broken then suspect its hard to get it back.

I go to a handful of games most season, home and away. My son is a proud town fan after I indoctrinated him during the PDC era so he comes with me. Unable to make every game due to living away and the feeling of meh around the club doesn't help.

My daughter seems to have chosen Swindon ahead of Bristol City which will mean loads more games next season.

For now, I go sporadically as I prefer the company of my wife and child... and that would be the case if we were top of the league. 😀
