When I was a kid you sat outside the pub in the car, and got brought a bag of crisps and a bottle of pop. Sure the dog would be happy to do the same, and probably just settle for the crisps. Ideally that also do food. Not a local any more but on trips to Swindon have taken mine to both The Wheatsheaf and The Hop with no issue. Not sure if they do food though. He always tells the tales of being taken to various pubs around the town by his old man and being deposited in the beer garden with a bag of crisps and a glass of pop for hours on end. |
