Looking at a horse with Alan King who trains just down the road from me. Just looking for a bit of fun and socialising.

I think syndicates exist for the horse to race and win races, not for you to just go out for a date and social drink with the horse, possibly Tinder would be better and probably cheaper for your aspirations?

Any one used the On To A Winner syndicate? They're local ish for me but wondered if they were any good? They have shares ranging from c£250 (2.5% with £100 p/m) 5yr old raced, several places and wins. To c£1000 (2.5% with £70 p/m) 1yr old unraced but with good pedigree (Zebedee stud & good dam) and decent trainer, poss Threlfall owned.

Yep! Also Charlie Austin owns Excel racing which isn't too badly priced at all if you want to get in with him...
