Title: Re: Racehorse Ownership Post by: The Artist Formerly Known as Audrey on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, 15:17:22 Thanks for that. Just wondering whether these syndicates work OK or people bicker about stuff.
Looking at a horse with Alan King who trains just down the road from me. Just looking for a bit of fun and socialising. I think syndicates exist for the horse to race and win races, not for you to just go out for a date and social drink with the horse, possibly Tinder would be better and probably cheaper for your aspirations? Make sure all vet costs etc are included in your monthly outlay. Title: Re: Racehorse Ownership Post by: BambooToTheFuture on Thursday, September 7, 2017, 16:39:26 Any one used the On To A Winner syndicate? They're local ish for me but wondered if they were any good? They have shares ranging from c£250 (2.5% with £100 p/m) 5yr old raced, several places and wins. To c£1000 (2.5% with £70 p/m) 1yr old unraced but with good pedigree (Zebedee stud & good dam) and decent trainer, poss Threlfall owned.
