Title: Premier League XI
Post by: Ginginho on Friday, August 25, 2017, 12:47:31
I reckon we could scrape together a Premier League XI from current Premier League players who have played for Swindon.

GK - Heaton (Burnley)

Def - Stephens (Southampton)
Def - Milner (Liverpool)
Def - Smith (Bournemouth)
Def -

Mid - Carrick (Man Utd)
Mid - Ritchie (Newcastle)
Mid - Murphy (Newcastle)
Mid - Robson-Kanu (West Brom)

Str - Austin (Southampton)
Str - Walcott (Arsenal) - I know he never technically played for us but fuck it, he's in.

There must be some others?

Can we claim Eddie Howe as manager? He had a loan spell, don't remember him playing...

You could reluctantly squeeze Feruz in there, and Dabo (on loan at Vitesse but still a Chelsea player).

I was going to say Ryan Mason then realised he's now in the Championship. In fact, he might not play again http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/hull-city-midfielder-ryan-mason-could-be-forced-to-retire-a7910191.html

Howe played for the reserves... Walcott defo counts as Soton paid a fee for him
