Title: Re: Forest green away Post by: Reg Smeeton on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 10:26:21 No doubt Sky will pitch this as the plucky minnows against the big hitters... fair enough as long as they point out we're the minnows.
Title: Re: Forest green away Post by: Abrahammer on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 10:27:01 Probably take a few off the away crowd. Shame That away end is bloody tiny, probably a good thing if there is a little less demand for tickets Title: Re: Forest green away Post by: Abrahammer on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 10:36:29 No doubt Sky will pitch this as the plucky minnows against the big hitters... fair enough as long as they point out we're the minnows. Have a day off Reg. That's too predictable, you need some new material Title: Re: Forest green away Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 10:51:59 Have a day off Reg. Title: Re: Forest green away Post by: Costanza on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 12:14:42 I was planning to go but
Booooo. I'll bemoan our loss from elsewhere. Title: Re: Forest green away Post by: Tails on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 12:18:18 I was planning to go but Saturday isn't possible. Booooo. I'll bemoan our loss from elsewhere. Good job it's on Friday then ;-) Same position for me, was planning to go but probably can't now. Sky Sports it is! Title: Re: Forest green away Post by: nigel grays a postie on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 12:32:59 Was told that we would only be allocated 500 or so tickets for this one. Even if it is on TV still presumably going to be all sorts of restrictions in his place as to who is able to get hold of one season tickets points wise etc
Title: Re: Forest green away Post by: Costanza on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 13:43:00 Good job it's on Friday then ;-) Same position for me, was planning to go but probably can't now. Sky Sports it is! The important thing is that you understood my point. :) Title: Re: Forest green away Post by: Bob's Orange on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 17:30:54 I'm on holiday. Dancer!

Even if it is on TV still presumably going to be all sorts of restrictions in his place as to who is able to get hold of one season tickets points wise etc Doubt that very much. Usual away capacity is about 1300. With the fact they will struggle to get more than 1500 home fans turn up I can't see them restricting away numbers. We'll almost certainly outnumber them in their own ground just as the likes of Oxford and Rovers did.Title: Re: Forest green away Post by: reeves4england on Thursday, July 20, 2017, 09:27:51 Glad this is on TV, what with living so far away. Wasn't expecting any televised games this year.
Title: Re: Forest green away Post by: Peter Venkman on Thursday, July 20, 2017, 10:22:02 This is a good one for me, I have a wedding on the 23rd Spetember in Swindon to attend so I can watch it now, nice.

This one was a fucking nailed on certainty, infact Man U, city, Chelski, the Arse, scouseland were all lobbying Sky cause they were worried 'lowly' FGR the giants of Wiltshire, Swindon Town FC were going to rob them of the limelight for 90 mins this season. Title: Re: Forest green away Post by: Bogus Dave on Thursday, July 20, 2017, 23:09:53 I'm assuming it's an international weekend?
Title: Re: Forest green away Post by: Red Frog on Friday, July 21, 2017, 10:06:39 I'm assuming it's an international weekend? International call-ups will do for this game then. Title: Re: Forest green away Post by: Reg Smeeton on Friday, July 21, 2017, 10:14:36 International call-ups will do for this game then. No, it will be like the Charlton game last season. FGR, like Charlton will have to take it on the chin, and play without their internationals... happily for us I don't think Flitcroft does players from Blatter's dodgy vote pool. I suppose Linganzi might have a connection to some Conradian, Francophone, hell hole, but imagine that's about it.
