Title: ISIS
Post by: JanTheMan on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, 19:42:09
Evening all.

I'm a geek and I collect Swindon tops. I don't even wear them outside of big games, which in turn makes me look like someone who only attends big games.  They just sit in a box in my loft. Pointless really but like all collections it's annoying when there's missing bits.

I first went in the 85/86 season which isn't long after tops became commercially available. Sure Reg will correct me but don't think you could buy our infamous ISIS kit or the rather lovely adidas number from 1980-82. My mate has an Isis top, but it's in size 2-3 when he was a mascot.

I've got about 50+ but they are becoming increasingly hard to find. I'm looking for quite a few from the late 80's, including all of the yellow third kits. If anyone has any of the following and would be interested in a sale let me know. I'll offer surprisingly good money for anything in half decent condition and a small fortune for a genuine isis/adidas.

Red/yellow Isis 81-84
Red or yellow 84-86 (traffic sign badge)
Yellow or white 86-88 (traditional badge)
Yellow 89-90 (gwr)

If anyone can help let me know.
Thanks

I don't - because all of those are a little before my time.  But wish you the best of luck.

A former neighbour of mine worked for ISIS. I've got a programme somewhere that shows the players wearing those shirts.
