Title: Recommend me a good accountant for a contractor Post by: pauld on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, 15:59:56 As it says on the tin. I'm currently working as an IT contractor, looking to move away from the very expensive turnkey accountants I used when I first set up to something a bit cheaper. It's pretty straightforward stuff - I'm not Starbucks! - looking for an (ideally local) accountant that can take it on. I know we've got a few accountants on here, although I appreciate there's about 57 different flavours of accountancy and this might not be your specialism but any recommendations for a decent local accountant that doesn't charge the earth for annual returns, bit of advice and automated payroll? Ta

They're very good with contractors and IR35. Not the cheapest, but sometimes you get what you pay for.
