Jason on currently is making some great points. Basically pointing out how unfit we are currently when we should be at the peak of our fitness.

Sherwood was on Talksport earlier talking about Arsene Wenger! Not a word about us.

Its all a bit mysterious.

Its been an interesting hour. I think SM covered it in his mail article which was probably the basis of this, but its good to get a bit of national exposure.

Been a very good listen so far.

Valid points being made by supporters. How can Sherwood ask for 100% when hes not there himself, lee power speaking to talksport next week out of the country again they've spoken to him today. Players unfit, not up for the battle etc etc. Not good enough.

No, it wasn't about Tottenham or Football Manager so why would he be.

I caught some of it. I like Perry groves and thought he made some very good points. Calling Williams a BBC man(bibs, balls and cones) was spot on.

Just listened to it through.

Thought they were pretty much spot on about everything. Quite scathing of Tim not-very-nice-but-really-quite-dim Sherwood, which must be embarrassing for him considering just how much he cares about his public image. He really does think he's too good for us, doesn't he? He'll be lucky to ever get a decent managerial job again after this debacle. Nice to hear the media on our side for once too. Could do with their help at this moment in time!

Will be interesting to see if Power fronts up on TalkSport next week (as he's promised to). We'll probably only get the same platitudes he gives the BBC. Hopefully the TalkSport bunch are just as critical with Lee on the line.

I tried listening but it was like reading the sun on acid probably. Godawful opinionated taxi drivers talking over each other, how does any sane person listen to that?

Listening to talk sport is like being in a quiet pub having a quiet pint when a load of blokes come in and start having a just slightly too loud and heated discussion, whilst they speak to some of their mates on loudspeaker at the same time. There's nothing wrong with them having the conversation itself, it's the way they are having it that's the issue.

Tbh, I think that's exactly what they're aiming for. Very difficult listening to it, though.

Talksport have their own schtick. It obviously works for a lot of people as they're doing ok...

talk sport is a delight compared to rob beckett's  rock n roll football on absolute radio, its like listening to russell brand on speed, fucking awful :headhurts:

I was initially expecting a regurgitation of the bbc wilts phone in but with Sherwood now looking a bit silly, I wouldn't be surprised to see a complete lie that Williams is in sole charge of team selection. Anything for Powers mate to save face.

Talksport is good listening if you spend a lot of time on the road, much better than 5live during the day which has a stick up it's arse..
