They will fail to score for the first time in league this season.
94th minute deflection off Norris backside wins it.

I'd take this. Not looking forward to going but was well chuffed with the Bradford game so who knows. After going to all the away games recently, wobbly Bob I hope they win for you. You deserve a medal.

First game I've been to since September... I'm looking forward to this one! Only back in Swindon for a month, so this is likely the only game I'll get to over the Christmas period. Hoping my rare appearance will coincide with some good fortune.

Massive game. If we are to stay in Div 3 the sort we must win.  Hard to make a case for too many points on the road what with a record of 3 wins in 23, under Luke, so we'll have to do it at the CG.

Fleetwood aren't great away, and had a game in mid week, I was hoping the Shrews would hold out for extra time, but sadly folded to a 93 minute defeat.

A draw wouldn't be the worst outcome....but defeat really would be damaging, confirming the belief that the players have collectively thrown in the towel, this early in the season.

If we can fluke a win it will put us 7 points ahead of Coventry (how bad must they be).

Got tickets but can't be arsed to go - never thought I'd ever do that. It's bad enough hearing how crap we are without witnessing it first hand.

I watched their game v Blades t'other night, and they are bad.....nevertheless, they never really looked like caving in as we did a few days earlier.

I couldn't help wondering how Jordan Turnbull ended up there....

Norris is going to score a brace to become our leading scorer of the season so far as we cruise to a comfortable home win.

Not really, we will lose because we are shit and don't have enough players with the backbone for a fight (certainly based on last weeks dismal effort).

Actually it's probably going to get abandoned because of fog

The only fond memory I have of his ill-fated season, where he was the failed replacement for Danny Ward:

Sounded a lot better than the last few games, Gylton sounde don fire and glad Norris bagged a league goal at last at home.

Sounded like a good effort all round by all of them barring maybe Rodgers...again...great Nathan is back too, shame about Beaker.

Not a bad result against a team fairly high in the table and should have won if Doughty had his shooting boots on.

Not a bad point.

And I got pretty close with the prediction apart from Rodgers :D
1-1 6,143 (56 Away Fans)

As for the result....1-1 draw in front of 6,103 with 145 Coddys there.

Scorer for us....hmmm... Rodgers free kick!

Unfortunately that has been the pattern of the season so far.

LP was making all the right noises about new signings pre match, saying we have been watching some youngsters at top clubs, also some more experienced players too and that a few of the Summer signings have not been as good as he hoped and could be moved on.

He also said our budget this season is in the top half of the league so admits we are underachieving.

LP didn't hint as to who it was just that there would be movements out of as well as into the club but with new signings being the priority.

Second half we were the better side and should've won it.
A good performance, but 2 points dropped.

Hylton deservedly MOM, it's like having a new player, that's the best i've ever seen him play.
It seems he's been putting in the extra hours in training from what Williams said in his interview and was rightly given his chance, he looks a lot stronger too.

Doughty disappointing and topped off a crap performance with a penalty miss, Kasim out of sorts and was blowing out of his arse for the last 20 minutes.

BOO had a good game, fuck knows what happened to him at the end, I looked round and he was lying in the gangway with medics and stewards around him, hope it's not too serious.

Thompson was solid as was Jones and Branco.

Awful penalty,  what was he thinking. Hate stutters mid run just put your laces thru it ffs.

A pretty dire game between two crap sides. The first half was terrible. Rogers proved all those who think he is lazy and useless correct. Two wanky corners, lazy passes and no effort whatsoever. Saying that Doughty and Kasim were shit and Murray ( apart from between 55 and 65 mins ) were shite as well. Although Fleetwood were crap they were still able to score easily from inside the 6 yard box while our defenders first of all watched their bloke cross the ball and then watched as Ball stuck it in unchallenged. The movement was total shit. Good header from Norris for the goal but that was the only chance we had.
The second half was much better. Hylton did excellent for the penalty. Again he had fuck all support so kept the ball and drew the foul in. The midfield again were total shite.
The two positives today were Norris getting off the mark with a decent goal and Hylton who worked his balls off all game. Oh and Smith coming on and in his first challenge elbowed their bloke in the back of the neck.
The negatives - the midfield. Murray and Thomas should be ashamed they cannot get a regular start. I'd love to see Smith given a run. The total lack of cohesion all around the pitch, our movement from free kicks, throw ins etc.
Not a great game but another point. i though the game could have gone either way but not a great spectacle

Didnt think that our offside goal was offside.

Hated the time wasting from their keeper from the moment they drew level - does he really need a drink every time he's supposed to be taking a goal kick?

All in all a bit dull.

No classic but there were positives. Hylton was always lively and a real threat. Norris finally looked like a centre forward with a good headed goal from a great cross from Furlong and generally controlled the ball well and put himself about effectively. Nathan Thompson didn't pull up within 5 minutes of his comeback and generally looked pretty solid at the back and moved forward well with the ball out of defence. Vigoroux barely had a shot to save, which certainly hasn't been the case recently . Sad to see Boo stretchered off as, particularly in the second half, he got some good tackles in and got forward pretty effectively - with a shot just over and a great forward break and cross that Norris finished off that can only very narrowly have been  offside. Kasim and Doughty not at their best but both gave decent enough displays (penalty miss aside] after coming back from illness/injury. Murray had his best 45 minutes in a while, was fairly close to a spectacular long range goal after a decent interplay with Yaser. Given its not hard but he was massively better than Rodgers. Smith as previously stated really got stuck in in his brief spell on as emergency left back - even against an opponent getting on for a foot taller than him. So probably 2 points dropped but have spent far more frustrating and depressing afternoons at The County Ground

Haven't read back and am knackered so posting this for no reason, but still..

Hylton looked bloody possessed today, always thought he had potential but I never thought I'd be calling him MOTM so soon! Great performance, and Norris was almost the same, his best game I've seen. Excellent goal. Doughty went the other way, but presumably isn't fully fit. I stick up for Rodgers a fair bit but he had an appalling game.

Also good news for me is my mate who went with me is still my mate. But then he has sat with me through a lumbar puncture.

I sat with my daughter while she had a lumbar puncture. Not nice.

I'm sorry you had to see a loved one go through that. I'm pretty good with pain normally and I've had all sorts of procedures lately but that was other worldly.

Not as bad as that game against Eastleigh though, bloody hell.

Two great goals I thought.

Boo skyed a great chance from kick off in the second, Doughty missed the pen and also saw a superb volley arrow just wide.

They hit the bar.

Highlights over. Some did well, some OK and Rodgers dire.

Fleetwood were organised at the back and we never looked like breaking them down. Meh.

With Reg in the respect that we really needed to win a game like that.

The Boo injury looked bad, in the TE we thought it was a fan collapsed or something.

I am planning to go to Milwall, if the parking isn't too much of a ball ache any tips?!

Don't know if this is the reason but with about three minutes to go we had a corner and he came almost to the centre circle as if he was going to join in, looked at the bench and was sent back to his penalty area.

He was sat next to power in the directors box. Embleton had an earpiece in, so I assume Timmy was feeding him info (opposed to Williams who spent the full 90 in the dugout)

Largely echoing what others have said, yesterday was a crap game between two poor sides. We had most of the ball, but couldn't seem to break them down. I found it strange that a side sitting in 7th were content to come and settle for a draw (especially in the second half), but then again they weren't up to much.

Hylton was excellent. He looked stronger, more determined and more decisive than I've ever seen him play. If he plays like that every week then the goals will start to follow. Thompson looked his old self, although it is almost always a relief to see him finish a game without an injury or a red card, it's vital that he stays fit and able to play from now until the end of the season. If he can, then I think we'll stay up without issue. If not, then things will be stickier. Ditto Kasim, glad to see him back and thought he put in a decent enough display. Rodgers--not just because he's scapegoat no.1--was really quite terrible, he made the once decent pass for the goal, but other than that he gave the ball away endlessly and looked more half-arsed than usual. Though Doughty was well below his best, but I'm not convinced it was a fitness issue. He looked a little complacent to me, lots of lazy flicks that didn't come off, huffing and puffing when others didn't pass to him, etc. Hopefully he can get back to his best soon.

The BOO incident was an odd one. At first, our free-kick was delayed and then it became apparent that we only had ten men on the pitch... Even from far end of the DRS you couldn't tell that it was a player who was down hurt. Thought for a moment that BOO might have just had enough and ran home!

Odd that neither Boo's injury nor the disallowed goal were shown on the highlights (including the 10 minute version). Both would seem exactly the kind of thing which might be worth a second look.

Why wasn't the penalty retaken, keeper was at least 3 yards off the line before the ball was struck.

Very rare to see that actually penalised nowadays, seems to be the norm.

Did their keeper get booked eventually? I can't remember it, but it's ridiculous if he didn't.

No he didn't get booked. The ref was going to book him but juggled the cards around a bit, walked aimlessly for a bit then took a swig of water and forgot

The ref stopped Doughty in his run up to take the penalty. Can't have helped Doughty's decision where to put it!

It was just a sh1t penalty nobody to blame but Doughty for that one, placement over power ? for me if your going to place it put it high less chance of it being saved

The penalty was relatively far enough towards the corner of the goal and hit quite hard but the keeper managed to get to it with an outstretched palm. I don't think it was a particularly terrible penalty, if the boot was on the other foot and Fleetwood had the penalty I think we would all be applauding Vigs for a terrific stop.
