Post by: lambourn red on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, 11:28:49 There is no reason why Football should not be the same as Rugby where only the captain is allowed to speak to the referee and if you protest to a decision it is an automatic yellow card, that would stop it immediately if they actually went through with it. It should also be an automatic Yellow card for gesturing to the ref to give a card to a player and for any sort of play acting.

It's the same as shirt pulling at corners, they should give a penalty every time. We hear cries of that will lead to 10 penalties a game. I'm not so sure...there's no doubt that the Prem don't want the likes of Leicester winning the league again, so it will probably be the likes of the Foxes, WBA, Stoke, Burnley, Watford etc who see the reds, thereby ensuring, ManU and Chelsea get their CL places back. I am a simple soul, but hasn't threatening the referee (either verbally or by action) etc always been a red card offence anyway. So didn't need new rules, just them to be applied? |
