Title: Shelbourne away
Post by: Panda Paws on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, 17:11:49
Just booked flights for this - too good (and cheap) to turn down 24 hours on the sauce in Dublin! We're All Going On A European Tour....

£20 Return from Birmingham to Dublin for those who fancy it. :pint: :pint: :pint: :pint: :pint: :pint:

...just hope it's confirmed!  ;)

We've had friendlies announced by other clubs in the past not to come to fruition.

Still, it's 24 hours in Dublin.

I really fancy this. I'd better put my good boy trousers on at home and earn a pass.

Glad you could change your tickets, but don't think you were the one the original comment was aimed at.

Ha. Not sure how the missus would like that.

Looking at it again, it was a hostel, not hotel :/

I mentioned it to the missus and we're going to fly out Tuesday morning and fly back Wednesday night.

A remember being told about a guy from South Wales that had persuaded his wife to be to honeymoon in Australia, she was (as you could imagine) delighted with this. What he neglected to mention is that 20 of his closest mates would be there too for the Lions tour.

No idea if he's still married, but surely persuading the missus into a few nights in Dublin must be easier :D

I did something similar when England played Italy in Rome in the 6N on Valentines day a few years back.
You think you can get away with it, but it haunts you in arguments for the rest of your life

Early start tomorrow morning.

Who else is going, and any ideas for pre-match beers? Or just drink at the club?

Looking forward to a couple of days in Dublin.

Pub crawl in city centre beforehand, loads of good pubs.

Will keep an eye out for town colours.
