I work in the finance industry but not in actual 'banking' per se.

Twice, also briefly in a pub in London Bridge... that was during my brief spell in London before fleeing back to the safety of the West.

Met quite a few TEFers a few times, don't really know any of them well.

Not sure about guessing jobs, I know too many of them. I do presume that just about everyone works at Nationwide in some capacity though, it's just a safe bet in Swindon.

I met Nemo at Bristol City away last year. Even sorted him out a ticket. He had to wear a suit because he was coming straight from work... so that really doesn't narrow it down.

I have met Audrey before in real life before a midweek game. He is a nice guy in real life (and he gave me a lift to the CG so gets bonus points) so not quite sure why he gets so tetchy on here.

We need him back on here before the summer, not sure I can stand the tedium of another transfer window without any rumours of crazy ideas of transfer targets.

I think he's taken Jordan Stewart with him and is grooming greyhounds in South Cerny.

Why did Audrey leave the last time?  I know he went once and then reappeared a few weeks later, but I missed the latest one.

I met Chalkies Shorts a few years ago and saw him at Wembley last year as well.  I also had the pleasure of meeting Batch a few weeks ago when our sons played against each other at football. I may well have met others, but not realised.

In terms of occupation, I'm one of the masses that works at Nationwide.

I'm was of the ex NBS ones on here so probably recognise a few.

I've met Samdy when he bought a bike off me, seen Batch but never to talk to.

There are folk on here that I've been conversing with (on here and, before that, on MOS) for over 15 years - and who I've never met in person.  It would almost be a shame now if I did.  I'd rather keep the mental pictures I have of people in one piece, and not shatter the illusion with a dose of reality.

I've met maybe 15/20 people from here in some way or another (away day trains, mini buses, pub quizzes, pre-season trips to Brighton, beers for the sake of it, previously working in Nationwide HQ).

I don't go any more though, and JFW spurned my advances and got married. I still love Bennett.

There was me thinking talk talk might have wanted to meet me to get pissed have a laugh and eat curry. Oh well.

If it's about mental images, best to stick with what you have I think. Works for me with people on here.
I've met very few TEFers and I like it that way. Forum world / real world I like to keep separate. Not that meeting individuals would be a bad thing of course. The occasions it has happened have been good.

The only person on here that I have definitely seen (but not spoken to...) is TheDukeofBanbury....who I recognised from a photo that he once posted of himself with a fish. I've seen him at a few away games over the years....Torquay during the Di Canio era springs to mind.
