Gym that I go to uses these, but I've never really bothered with them. Got to the stage now where I want to make sure that I'm pushing myself hard as I train for a tough sportive in the early summer. My Garmin HRM doen't seem to want to play with the kit in the gym, so though I might buy one. Before buying one, I thought I would check with the mighty TEF to see if anyone has any experience of them? Just off to the gym and getting a professional involved in getting it working. I'll let you know if or when its fixed. Not holding my breath though.
