Title: Countryside public footpaths and Bridleways
Post by: Sippo on Thursday, July 2, 2015, 21:16:01
Is there a map somewhere for one in the Swindon area. Oxfordshire CC have a good interactive map, as do Wilts but can't find a SBC one.

soapy tit wank @Coombe Down.

@Sippo - I'd say download or go to the website www.viewranger.com loads of maps free to use like open cycle map/street map (they have most footpaths and bridleways.  Also people upload their own routes which you can then download for free, so you never really need buy an online/digital map again.

Hope that helps.

  ;D

Bing maps has an ordinance survey 'view'. Long dashes are bridleways, short dashes are footpaths.

The Council should hold a definitive 'rights of way' may that you can look at.

I picked up a copy if Swindon Cycle Map at the race for life. I think you'll find that useful.
