I'm more interested in the Non-League friendlies but that's a really good friendly for the club to arrange.

Power said we had friendlies lined up against Villa, Everton and Liverpool during the build up to the PO final, 2 out of 3 confirmed.

 Presumably a Youth XI.  Perhaps give us a chance to look at a few....

seems like a first team friendly too. wonder if we'll get a couple of their yoof.

edit, oh wait, says Everton will play seven first team friendlies, but there are 7 + 1 tba in that link so who knows.

Wouldn't the club have been pushing this a bit more if it was the first team....

Power said all 3 Premier friendlies would be First team squads not Youth XI , he was asked the question by Radio Wilts in the build up to Wembley be interesting to see if that has changed now we did not go up.

Probably find the cost will be £15 per game same as the Villa prices

That is a lot of money for 2 friendlies £30 - plus there is supposed to be Liverpool as well if it get's announced wouldn't mind if it was £10 a game. Think I may just pick 1 friendly to go to

I won't do any of those, never do the home friendlies. Might do Supermarine again purely for the fact I can have a beer while watching  :pint:

could do w with knowing where  the real friendlies are, and when, got to see if I can make them from work.

Maximenko has good pedigree playing in the top dutch league for Venlo last year from what I can find. Jebb is ex Arse.

Well that was a good first ....errr....43 minutes for the Town...

7 has done good and bad things but looks quite handy. 4 has done ok in flashes. Belford has made 3 good saves.

Kasim has played one or two sublime passes. Obika sharp, smith still has poor control at times.

Not convinced Everton are even in first gear.

As the commentators have said the grass looks a little long and a few of the passes have held up. Diarra looks decent. Really tough task replacing Mass/Thompson/Gladwin in there though.

Meh...

Looked good at times in the first half.

Liked the look of Robert and Obika.

Yeah first half not bad. Kasim and the triallist numbers 4 and 7 worth another look.

Second half Everton miles better than us and we made about 20 substitutions.

Tom Bassam has found the mysterious sub keeper. Coca Fola will be blowing his proverbial load.

I wasn't overly impressed with BOO today, he seemed quite cautious. That said he put in 2 or 3 lovely deliveries into the box.

His replacement was apparently a Sunday league triallist and I actually thought he did ok.

Commock didn't feature (so I suppose he's gone). I think James Brophy is the trialist in question.

Not too bad, showed some nice touches and good feet. One wild shot when getting into a good position but thought he looked quite sharp.

STFC needed to look in the kit cupboard for Razor Ruddock's old shorts for our number 23 today.  His speed was seriously inhibited by the fit of his shorts.  Or maybe that's what he plays like all the time.  Who knows?

Nearly a thousand Everton fans and not one scouse accent. I spotted a guy I work with who came out to me as an Everton supporter. They seemed very placid. I bet they miss Val Doonican.

Mate of mine went with an Everton fan relation of his.  Said we ran the game in the first half particularly the midfield with the bigger one being the star.  I think he meant Yasser.
