I'm tempted to go.

I'll try and watch. Purely cause I need to try and fill every minute of my day today with doing something or I'll start getting nervous.

Big Bad Bazza goal disalowed, mostly Sarfend so far but a real scrappy game, loads of Wycombe passes coming down with snow on the ball.

The pitch looks good and hopefully it will stay that way cos the ball is rarely being kept on it.

The referee is a Swindon lad.  I used to be his football manager when he was a 14/15 year old, was a decent striker.  He borrowed a town shirt off me for the Millwall play off final and still hasn't given it back to me, hopefully he is wearing it under his refs shirt as an omen :)

He will be back at Wembley tomorrow as a fan.

TBF hes not doing bad, Wycombe are making the most of everything and bith sides are niggly on and off the ball. Not sure the game will finish 11 a side though.

Good turn out by Sarfend over 20,000 sold, poor by Wycombe at just 14,500 for a game barely 20 miles away.

He ref'd us in a Bromham v Wootton Bassett Utd Wilts League match, absolutely great ref, read the game well, communicated with players well. Good to see him go up the ladder!

Never understood payng all that money and leaving early.

Some are just clumsy with their planning an don't anticipate extra-time. Some are sore losers.

I'll be there tomorrow until the end, it's the least I can do, whatever the outcome.

I will admit to leaving a number of games early over the years but in almost every case we've been 5-0 down.

He's had a good season overall, so I'm told, and has been reffing quite a few Championship games this year. He did get his ear bent for this one, though!



What an end to the game though! Pleased to see the ex-Town guys at Southend doing well. Always liked Timlin.
