Title: Colchester Away
Post by: Langers on Monday, April 27, 2015, 11:03:17
Anyone going?

Despite it being an awful away day, it's possible for me to get there after work so may well head up there. Don't think we will take very many. Would like to see a stronger team than Saturday, purley so we can try and get some momentum going.

Shit new ground with no atmosphere, middle of nowhere, not many will go and we'll probably play the reserves again. This one isn't littered with positives to attract many.

Anyone want a ticket for £15? Bought weeks ago but one of my lot has just dropped out.

I have already said I would take one for £16.50, otherwise I would! (not that it helps you much!)

No worries mate. Yeah Bob's exhausted all options that end I think. Expect I'll be able to shift it in the pub or at the ground.

If you have a spare ticket, I am willing to buy off you. I live in Ipswich and will be taking the short drive. We can meet up if it's still available. Was going to sit with the locals but hey!

What's the price on the night?

I'm still undecided.

Stopping in Surrey so that cuts down on travel a bit.

There is a Park & Ride car park 800 metres from the ground. Other side of the A12.

Yeh it's still available mate. The only problem there is that I doubt I'll be at the ground particularly early as I'll be sampling a few ales in town before getting the bus from near the station. Is that likely to cause you a problem? What time do you normally like to get in?

Yes,  yes we do and I'm one of them. New ground for me and got the day off so screw it.  Here I am sat in the Wetherspoons in town (old theatre,  honestly gorgeous interior if you ignore the Wetherspoons-ness of it all) waiting for my steak to arrive and having a bevvy or four.
