Recently about 500 of their fans went to watch AFC Blackpool instead of Blackpool in protest. The Oyston's are raking it in. Not only did the club use the Prem money to pay dad a cool £11m, they've also paid Oyston owned companies £27m in loans (interest free) and also the family purchased land from the club before selling it back at a huge increase (one deal was something like £100k purchased and then sold back for £6m). All totally legal as they are majority shareholders. The rise the Prem was a combination of ring fenced extra cash from the Russian guys and a load of unexpected luck. Oyston et al are now taking every penny of the parachute payments (think they have the lowest wage bill in the league).

Eddie Howe is a great manager, plus eight of their regular 11 this season were part of their League One promotion team. Rotherham may be facing points deduction for feilding an ineligible player in a game they won so that will put them well and truly back in the relegation mix if it happens.
