You had to be in Cornwall then for it to be total, I think. You're not going to notice much at all with cloud cover, unless it's total.

Sat out on my doorstep with a pair of binoculars taped to a mic stand and a big bit of white card to watch it. Great stuff. Added bonus of the vernal equinox this weekend which always attracts pagan ladies....who are an interesting breed, what with Mother Earth being more a lady thing than the more patriarchal conventional religions.
