Title: Boiler services
Post by: Bogus Dave on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, 22:28:31
Hiya

I need to get my boiler serviced. It shouldn't be a complicated job - it's only a year old and the service is mainly to ensure it stays under warranty. All I really need is a signed log book. Any one know anyone decent in swindon who could do this for less than British gas?

How much do British gas charge?
I use gv hall and have done since I bought my first house. Not the cheapest but always does a good job.
My last boiler service was around £85

£80 apparently (I haven't spoke to them, it's just what I have heard)

Even john the bodge from Thompson local would be about 60 quid at best, go with BG for a full service history, would be the best bet Imo.

I use ex-British Gas engineer Mark Bidgood, never let me down, costs about £45 for a boiler service . . . . and he is a ST holder!!

I've used Mark Bidgood also, known him for years.

We moved end of last year and got our complete boiler system replaced, James Rayner did it and did a thoroughly professional job so I can highly recommend him too.
