Just got an email. Price freeze for next season if bought before 28th Feb.

Interest fee instalment plan, £34.50 a month for 10 months. Works out cheap for League One and even better should we get promotion.

Good pricing but that's a very short window. A little part of me wonders if this a ploy to get some cash flow as we've got a big gap with no home games.

U11s free and 17-18 year olds now getting YA prices too, which I think is one extra yer? Either way, that's good news.

Would be interesting to know what the phase two prices are going to be though, are they released yet?

Do they let you upgrade tickets? So if I had a kids season ticket, could I pay to turn it into an adult ticket for a game?

under 11s not under 10s. if so fucking happy..

edit: Yup, leaflet says 10 or under on 1/8/15/ . My lad is 11 on 10/8/15. Yeeeeeeees!!!! Luckily got the money, and also its only £20 extra until end march. Happy days!

Its effectively a price increase for me as I got one this season when they were giving an extra 10% off so I paid £337 this season - £375 next season.
Its fantastic value if we go up. Not so sure if we remain in Div 3 but then I have issues with our general pricing structure anyway.
I'll renew anyway but my decision would be made easier if they would only put a roof on the bloody Bank.

Bloody hell.  I had to pay for Josh this season as he turned 11 in November, so we won't benefit from the extra year this time either.

It's always been a bit of an odd one. Seems to vary from club to club. 65 makes more sense given that this is considered pensionable age and people are likely to still be working between 60 and 65 anyway. Appreciate that the change effects will be a bit annoyed but I highly doubt it would stop many attending.

65 is only state pension age for approx another 3 years, when it starts to rachet up.  Many people, for example women retire at 60 and live on a modest state pension....if they've been budgeting for a concessionary price, it's likely they'll be driven away....might only be relatively small numbers, but our crowds are low for a reason, and decisions which needlessly put impediments in the way of attendance don't help.

Just realised the price freeze for Phase 1 ends today.

I've logged into my account and clicked Buy Now against Season Tickets, but it's not giving me the option to do anything.

Unless I'm being completely dim, it looks like they've already taken away the ability to renew online at that price.  Surely the cut-off should have been midnight?

Afraid I can't help, did mine in the shop.

Do you see your "my season tickets" when you first log in? There is a "find/renew season ticket" link on mine, in orange, right underneath. When I click that it takes me to my seat info, but normally where "add to basket" is, it says "current" which I assume means "already bought"

You aren't stupid so I assume its not there for you..

Title: Re: 2015/16 season tickets
Post by: Batch on Saturday, February 28, 2015, 23:14:40
Wait, did it again, got to the screen you said this time, but there was a "manage my tickets" thing that I clicked on. Then it appeared.

First time it went straight to it.

In any case if that isn't there, maybe its not working and the club haven't sorted the extended deadline out. Try again in the morning?

I dont have/not renewed a ticket tho

Thanks Batch.  I've found the Manage My Tickets bit, but when I click on it I get an option for Car Parking or the original wording that I posted above.  It's like I'm logging in as a new customer.

I've got a horrible feeling my online account is somehow not linked to my season ticket.

I think I renewed last year in the shop.

I've found another option under login to activate account and am wondering whether I need to do this.  It's asking for a client reference no?  Would that be my season ticket no?

I'm so annoyed I could have gone into the shop at any point and just lost track of time.

Didn't want to start another thread about prices etc....

Just had a look on the Bradford forum and they have sold 15,000 season tickets so far.

I know they do it regularly but thier offers are fantastic in comparison to most clubs, ours incuded.

£149 for a full adult season ticket anywhere in the ground works out at £6.47p a game thats fucking incredible.

Better to have sell 15,000 at under half price than 4k-5k at slightly more than double that price.

I am sure that if we offered a similar offer would probably get 10k+ season tickets compared to the 4k we will likely get this year.

Unless it's at Wembley you don't make any fucking games.

And you're always the one to point that out. We can't all be superfans. I have my own reasons.

I was merely suggesting that if we had such a deal on season tickets then maybe it would encourage some one like me to attend a bit more. I don't see an issue with that but obviously you do.

You mean when we had a similar offer in fittons first season and couldn't even break 6k?
IIRC though it worked out about £11 a game under Fitton...this offer is not much more than half of that and the walk up price then was £18 a game not the £25 that it is now.

Also...we had Malpas in charge back then.....

£229 a ticket, still £70 more than Bradford are charging now.

I don't think being £70 cheaper would mean we'd sell an additional 4,000 compared to 2008

No, but that in comparison with playing good football might do.

There were times under Malpas that if the season ticket was free it may not have temped some fans.

No it wouldn't. Fittons deal came after years of shit management and the club re-engaging with the community. There was a buzz around the club and we managed about 5.5k. It's been pretty comprehensively proven that the floating public don't particularly care about the style of football - that's for us regulars to discuss about. 'Floating' fans are attracted by success, not style, and 6k is pretty much our ceiling for this level

Not aiming this at anyone in particular but I always feel that those that don't go to games will have their reasons, and in most cases it's not the cost of a season ticket.

£150 would still get you into 6 games at a full price match day at today's ticket prices, but most of the stay aways still wouldn't go.

In my experience if the reason people give for not going was resolved they would simply find another one.

You mean, happy to play the "I'm a better fan than you" card. Again.

I'm hurt & upset that Sam feels I'm trying to somehow score points off him, when all I was really doing was helping him with some basic division.

I won't bother next time....

Agree entirely.
