Title: Bed
Post by: 4D on Monday, October 27, 2014, 16:40:52
Can anyone recommend a local bed store? I want a bargain, and a decent mattress. Thanks.

Go to Gorse Hill and see John Donaldson, opposite side of the road to St. Barnabas Church.  Was in there today to get a new mattress for a spare bed.

be prepared to pay as much for a mattress as the bed itself if not more.

Correct, I was surprised at the price of a small mattress!

Larger charity shops can be surprisingly good - things like British Heart Foundation etc. normally have bigger stores dedicated to furniture, and they're really picky about the stuff they sell.
