As long as we don't recall Storey to be the 3rd striker, he isnt the saviour.

Real blow. The other two may be in form, but having somebody capable of scoring putting pressure on them could be key to that form continuing. From the little I've seen, I'm not sure Waldon is at that level yet. 3 month loan please.

Bit fucked if one of the others gets injured.

Got to keep playing 2 up, though

Gutted for Obika, hope he can return well ahead of 12 weeks! I'd like to see someone come in on loan to help fill the gap.

I think we've got Barker and Waldon;  the only way we'll ever know if they're good enough is to play them. Different types to Obika, so might need a tweek in the system, but for me we've enough loans.

Bloody hell, I find myself in agreement with Reg!

Massive shame and we are really limited on the bench now. Hopefully gladwin can come back in soon, I know he isn't a striker but played well just off at the start. Ajose has been left out at Leeds for quite a while, if there new manager overlooks him we should make a loan offer asap

Oh, and Gladwin should be back soon. He started off this season as a 'second striker'.

Such a shame to hear about it from 6 different news outlets on Twitter within 2 minutes of eachother. :( Compounding the misery over and over.

I think this is the time for Barker to step up. Give him the chance then get a loan in if he doesn't perform. I have confidence in Barker though from what I've seen of him. Just need to not play Williams & Smith every minute of every game cause one of them could be injured.

I'd be more than happy for Ajose to come back for 3 months though.

If we do pick up a new striker we should get them in ASAP so they have the 2 weeks off where the PNE game has been moved.

Good shout that! We must be close to exhausting our loan amount though, how many are you allowed this season?

It might be early in his STFC career but he looks every inch the long term replacement for Louis so yeah i'd sling a 2 or 3 contract across the table to him

I think Graham Bean who Leeds fired on Thursday (as he had the audacity to re-arrange a game to a Weds and not told Cellino, although FL rules said they would need to rearrange) said he was acting as their admin person dealing the the FL doing the paperwork etc, and mentioned that he had loans lined up for players to go out but dont think they would happen now as no one left at the club knew what needed to be done with all the paperwork etc

Cellino is without doubt a chairman PDC. mental. Leeds fans actually proper rated Ajose and said he was their best player at the start of the season and then vanished. sounds like this norwich striker is decent and what we need.

Swindon link now reporting obka could be back earlier than first thought depending on the outcome of his visit to a specialist in London tomorrow, if he needs surgery then 12 weeks .

Bit better news then! Lets wait to see what the Link / FLIC / The Adver / BBC Wilts / The Washbag / Dan The Fan has to say about this...
