It would seem we're looking to be taking over a thousand to Orient. Which should be a great atmosphere.

Hope they are better organised than last season, when there were still 500 of us trying to get  a seat at 1 minute to kickoff.

Feel like I need to decide between Plymouth, Orient and Yeovil for October games Maybe 2 of them but all three and I'm looking at £20 a ticket + travel + bevvies. EEP.

Yeovil is a crap away day. One pub and no roof on the stand so impossible to get any songs going.

The best thing about Yeovil away, is that you can have a nice drive, and avoid the motorway.  Several decent options, but I favour Marlborough, Pewsey, down the Avon valley to hit the A303 just shy of Amesbury, then the A37 into Yeovil near Ilchester.

Think when I finally get near I'll be in the 91 club forever, as I've never heard anything good about Yeovil, and have no Intention of ever going there.

You get to stand on the dying breed known as a terrace, that makes Yeovil a winner for me.

Yeovil away with Kevin MacDonald at the helm a few years ago was good fun. We won 2-0 with both the goals in front of us. With it being a proper terrace, too. That makes it a great away day. Sucks not having a roof on it though.

Yep as I said several decent options, but I've got an irrational dislike of the road system round and through Trowbridge, so would tend to give that a miss.

Picking up the A350 at Melksham via Bassett and Chippenham, then down to Shaftesbury is another. there, follow the A30 west to Yeovil.

Ellie is alright but the show has become a ridiculously obvious mouthpiece for the countryside alliance folk...interviewing Princess Anne about the badger cull was the sort of thing we'd previously only  see in Brasseye.

I don't actually watch it, for the very obvious reasons that SY outlines, but have enjoyed Bradders when she done walking progs, like The Coast to Coast, Wainwright in Lakes, and even the Kraut and Iceland jaunts.

I watch such progs from the walking point of view, but inevitably being a bloke the mind does wander a bit from landscape appreciation when a behind shot of Bradders arse going up hill is shown. Is that wrong?

Julia Bradbury is amazing. On a par with Fiona Bruce IMO

The Leyton Technical on the High Street is well worth visiting, a great selection of real ales.  I will be going to the Birkbeck Tavern first though.  My criteria for decent pubs is purely down to how good the beer is.

I am mate, but unfortunately all sorted I'm afraid if it changes will let you know. If you have a railcard it's the same price as the group save for 3 by yourself from Swindon.

I pay about £30 from London to Swindon return, well in advance. Buying 2 singles is always cheaper but you have to make sure you are on specific trains which is annoying. £44 return otherwise

This pub which around a mile away from the ground on High Road, Leyton, boasts of having 16 Brodie's Beers on hand pump every weekend. Visit the King William IV website for more information. A little further on from this pub on Lea Bridge Road, is a Wetherspoons outlet called 'The Drum' which is also listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide.

Got to say that if arriving at Padd early-ish I always like a couple in The Pride of Paddington before heading off to the ground

I'm on the 9.11 with 3 others, heading to Liverpool Street Wetherspoons for a few before taking the central line up to Leyton.

I think the plastic Reading fans will take the Waterloo train Audrey as it goes pretty much direct to Brentford, but wouldn't be too surprised to see a few of them on the way back!

I popped into the County Ground earlier this afternoon to purchase three tickets for the away end at Orient. I asked the shop assistant what our allocation was and how many we'd sold already... to which he replied that our allocation was 'about 1000' and that we'd sold 'about 700' already.

So if you're planning to get tickets, i'd get a wriggle on. Hope this message helps a few people to avoid disappointment!

Either way, it'll be a great turnout and on our current form we should make a racket!

There is pay on the day at Orient - the adult ticket price increases from £23 to £25 for what it's worth.

What I was getting at was that there might not be any left on sale come Saturday because we've sold them all.

Last year I had a ticket pre-purchased but I know a group of London Reds who didn't, and therefore missed kick off due to the slow nature of getting their tickets. They had to move the segregated area to let the POTD's in.

I also missed a step walking out of the stadium, grabbed a seat to stop my fall, only for it to crumble (it was about 100 year old wood) in my hands. Luckily I managed to save myself but it was nearly a heavy fall.

True story.

I paid cash on the turnstile last season. Not sure if it was because they panicked when we took double that they were expecting.

I think we went in that one last season and it was full of Preston fans who gave us a few funny looks on the way to Colchester.

The Birkbeck is an old school pub, about 5 cask ales and a decent size beer garden.  The Leyton Technical has plenty of decent ales and will be jam packed .  I will be going to both.

Its very popular with fans going through Liverpool street.

Dirty Dicks is alright but pricey, if I remember rightly. I do miss the London away days now I live up north. Early morning train and a few drinks on the way through London, lovely job.

Red Lion in Leytonstone's a chuffing great pub, used to go there every Sunday when I lived in London.

I've never seen us win or even score a goal at Orient so apologies in advance for attending :)

I have been to two of the recent games and not seen us score and my son has been to three of them and not seen us score. I was going but cannot make it now as wife has made other plans for me! Son is going as he lives in London so hopefully will be breaking his duck and seeing the Town at their best.

Just had my ticket arrive, dunno why they bothered to print seat numbers on them.....

They were very strict with seat numbers at QPR away. Unfortunately for me there were 4 old ladies behind me that kept telling me to sit down...

They just sat there nattering like old women do the entire 90 minutes.

But this is the same ground that fucked up a lot of tickets if I remember correctly.

It got trashed a few times but they've redone the away end and removed the wooden seats now so it hopefully won't be as breakable.

Mine was 44 quid for a super saver return,  which includes a travel card for the tube. Mind you,  that's Salisbury to Waterloo,  so it might not be much help!

775 made the trip and our team contained Belford, Ward, Reckord, Harley and Murphy

Unsurprising 2-0 defeat by 2 pens

They were flying relatively high then, too.

If you got a seat closer to the front, where there aren't any poles or standing up people impeding your view it should be fine from my experience at orient
