Title: FA Cup Final
Post by: Ardiles on Saturday, May 17, 2014, 15:55:53
This is going to be a belter of a final.  Two clubs who will want it desperately.  It seems right to have this back where it belongs - after the Prem title has been decided.  Small gripe about the later kick off time, but it will do.  I never predict our own scores, but I'll go 3-2 to Arsenal for this one.

First cup final I've watched in years.  For all the reasons ardiles said.

Still can't see Hull winning.

Then again 2 0

They're getting mauled by the Tigers

(That video is the only good reason I can see to back Arsenal)

Oh no, it's thoroughly outweighed by the fact that Piers Morgan is going to jump off White Horse Bridge, don't worry.

Ha Ha Ha.

And the Arsenal fans just thought they had to turn up & the trophy was theirs.

So did I.  Shit.  Until a few moments ago, they were a genuine club-I-had-no-problem-with.  Problematic.

I wish Townsend would shut the fuck up. Annoying cunt.

Switch over to BT Sport, we have Neil Warnock and Michael Owen.

Was out in the gardening doing some weeding and miised the first 2 goals!...

Apart from the Tigers thing I have quite a bit of time for Hull, having led them to glory on numerous versions of Football Manager! Also there are way too many plastic Arsenal fans round here.

Go Tigers

The camera keeps showing full crown adult male humans with Tiger face paint. Still not worse than Piers, but come on chaps.

10 years ago Arsenal had just finished the season unbeaten.

How they'd kill for a Vieira or a Campbell or a Cole or a Gilberto or a Ljungberg or a Pires or a Bergkamp or a Henry now...

Strange question I know but is there a side of Wembley that is 'luckier', just looking at this game now and Arsenal fans are in the West Side, the same side that we've been in twice and lost twice, had a quick google but can't find anything?

I think for the first few years when the new Wembley opened there was a lucky side
...or it might have even been the Millennium actually.

I seem to remember something about one end of the Millennium supposedly being luckier, you might be on to something there.

But for the OP, our defeats were more to do with not being good enough than being on the wrong side

Can someone push Piers Morgan off the bridge anyway?

The end we played at, and lost, was the lucky end at Wembley. We showed it to be superstition rather than reality.
