We did see briefly with the orange thing, that it is possible for like minded Town fans to organise an effective protest, but the momentum behind that was lost when the new benign regime came in and settled things down.

I'm uncertain as to whether 7 or so years down the line, there is a will amongst the fan base, for something similar, or whether it's more a case of shrugging shoulders and accepting the inevitable :shrug:

it's not bollocks as I don't give a fuck about when they play or the teams form etc. I don't like getting so many players from one club, whether on loan or permanent deals. Performance and form has fuck all to do with that view.

People will say 'both teams benefit from it' etc, etc and I get that. I just don't like having strong links with single teams in particular.

Until the accounts are published its difficult to say who has or hasn't put in to the club. Hopefully there will be no surprises.

Genuine question did any of his 'schemes' actually deliver anything? The electronic advertisement boards cost money, the concerts cost money, the town end bar lacked a licence, the new look ticket office was pointless (did Jed's double glazing mates do it), the changes to the Legends led to empty tables, the Stratton bank roof was a lie and the clubs PR was amateur to say the least. The only improvement was the ticketing but wasn't that Steve M's baby? If this is what he managed in 6 months or so I dread to imagine what him and his cronies would achieve in a second spell, I don't think the club would last very long!


Think the revamp of the ticket office was actually a very astute business decision .Firstly the staff that work in the shop also now sell the tickets, no longer do we have staff sat in ticket office all day often with nothing to do and as a result we have halfed the the number of staff required.A second plus is that you now have to queue in the club shop meaning potentially extra merchandice sales( I ended up buying my lad a top when queuing for a ticket). Jed also put the seats back into the stratton bank and north stand which makes the ground look a lot better.However Would I want him back .....no.

If Seebeck retain those shares, assuming that cash and investor is withdrawn could the Football League throw a spanner in the works for Jed and his team?

Looks like no shares have ever changed hands between Seebeck and Power's company Swindon Reds. 

It'll be interesting to find out if cash changed hands.  Sounds like it has done to get to this stage but Seebeck must be pretty confident they have a case or at best a decent loophole. 

That said looking at the process last time wasn't it Power's cash that enabled Seebeck to acquire the club in the first place.  If Seebeck retain those shares, assuming that cash and investor is withdrawn could the Football League throw a spanner in the works for Jed and his team?
