As I said in a previous thread, if, to make the playoffs we'd have to have roughly similar points to last season, we'd pretty much have to win every game between now and then.

I think Wolves are reasonably comfortable we won't.

Seems a bit backward. You sign a left back so your left back can provode cover for centre back. Why not sign a centre back?

When considering the opinion of Plymuff fans, the fact they'll tell you that Jon Beswetherick was a decent defender tells you all you need to know.

I've been trying to think of players who've made the switch from Wolves to Swindon, and don't think there's been many...we seemed to have a connection in the early to mid 70's, getting a couple of nondescript players in as well as Peter Eastoe, and then Andy Mutch, but other than that can't think of any more.

Paul Ince joined us from Wolves. Not particularly notable though.

We can hope that Reckord plays better for us because he has better players around him, he has played for England U16 and U17's so surely he must have something about him.

This does look like Jay Mac may be on his way to cut wages one would imagine as he has been solid this season when not injured, Karl Robinson is a known admirer of JMc and tried to sign him before.

I see Reckord played against us twice, most recently for Plymouth in the JPT and previously for Coventry when they visited the CG in October 2012. I have no recollection of him.

The pun potential here is immense.  When he has a bad game, the Adver will be able to run with 'Change the Reckord'.  It's brilliant.

I was fairly ambivalent about this signing, until I saw the lad's full name. Worrying.

Evans had a good pedigree before signing for us, he was a good goal scorer everywhere (80+ goals in 240 games) before he came to us and he played like he couldnt be bothered.

He nearly did get 45 so I wonder if Cooper does have a sense of humour... sure there is a gag about a 12 inch but will leave it there!

I wrongly thought Evans had come from Brum....I remember him as being a bit shit, a Scouser who favoured the calm down moustache. Lou obviously thought the same, he didn't last long.

I can't remember him at all but if Leigh Barnard kept him out of the team he couldn't have been very good.  My earliest scapegoat memory is the stick he got from the fans 

There changed it for you....Evans was one of those players, who you get in Div 4, who've been decent enough in their time, at a higher level, get signed up in the hope there might be something left in the tank, but it's soon fairly obvious they haven't.
