Title: Wireless Video/Audio sender
Post by: 4D on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, 15:32:05
We have sky multiroom in our study, but we have taken the tv out of the room. Rather than relocating all the wiring we simply want to use wireless sender so that the multiroom can be used elsewhere. Does anyone use one of these, and what are they like? I guess I'd be better off getting a 5.8ghz version?  :sherlock:

Thanks, as always  ;)

I have one, bought from Curry's I think for about £40. It was shit until I realised wireless works on exactly the same frequency, along with my wireless headphones, so everything else has to be off for it to be good. Haven't used it for ages as it became too much of an arse ache.

Extend your satellite feed. It's cheap and easy to do. I have a matsui digi sender and it's shite. Not worth doing.

So, if I take the cable back through the wall and run it along the outside, drill a new hole and set it up?

You could extend the feed from the room you no longer want to view from by just linking up to it. You could, if you have enough feeds from the dish run another cable from the dish.
Far better than the digi sender option and cheaper too

I think they closed because my mate used to work there and Id go and pay for a 12 inch and come out with a bulging bag of vinyl.

I think you're getting confused with the sex shop in Old Town
