Does this explain the empty purse?

The firm was used by Jed McCrory’s consortium to take over the club. It is believed Hall represented a group of investors which made an official offer.

But this was not taken up by the club when the group’s initial promises failed to materialise.

Pretty much ties in with what was said on here before the adver broke the story some time back. They should put con men like this in prison

Reading the report, it seems more a case of no money was forthcoming rather than any scruples about Hall's background.

They were approached about investment,realised he was a blatant cock and got rid.Agree they should of done more checks but lets face it the timeframe they had has clearly left them undoing a few errors they made.

But lets not bullshit ourselves eh. Murrall says in the interview that his involvement with the carbon credits company came as a surprise. Really Steve? Really?

In fact I'm not sure what worries me more: Jed and Murrall appointing him to the Board without carrying out so much as a 30 second google search or check into his previous Directorships, or that they knew but were prepared to let such an obviously shady fucker get involved with the club.
