He suffered because no one else in that team wanted the ball. He'd offer himself, get the ball, and have to play it backwards or square because no one would offer themselves. The fans would then get on his back, but other, better managers could see his potential. The exact sort of player we could do with at the moment. Stronger, harder and more skillful than Hewlett.
