Title: Car Insurance
Post by: 4D on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, 08:21:41
The wife and I have a combined car insurance policy.

We both have different amounts of No Claims Discount accrued, does anyone know if we both accrue NCD each year or one of us? How does it work?

I worry about you....

Please clarify. You have one car, one policy, and you and your wife are covered (one as main driver, the other as an 'extra' driver). If that is the case, only the main driver will accrue NCD.

Direct Line used to (and may still) accrue NCD for main AND named secondary drivers on the same policy. So check the policy details and/or ring your insurer.
