Quote The second fixture affected is the home clash with Paolo Di Canio's Swindon Town. This was scheduled for Saturday 1st September, however, this is the opening weekend of Preston Guild, with the Trade's Procession happening that afternoon, ending on Moor Park. To accommodate this, after consultation with Preston City Council and Lancashire Police, the fixture, with the agreement of Swindon, has been put back 24 hours and will now be played on Sunday 2nd September, still with a 3pm kick-off.
