Shay Given - for me one of the most under-rated keeper around. At one time he was for sure in the top 5 in the world

The cunt in the crowd with the whistle needs to be knocked out, I thought that goal had been ruled out initially.

Good game

Why do the telly get all gooey over Ireland as if they some sort of twin town.

They are a foreign country....end of.

And this goes for all other shit as well as football......paddys popping up in all UK programmes.

I hope they get dumped out early doors....coxy or not.

Did ok up till the last 10 when they couldn't keep the ball and hence got pushed further back and back. Eventually paying the price.

Cox should get 20 mins or so maybe. Dunno if Ireland normally use Long before him though.

Cox is wasted on the wing.

If Ireland wanted a winger surely they'd have gone for McLean from Sunderland, and as you say Cox appears wasted!

Only caught the second half.

Poor from Ireland, seemed to just want to play it to the right. Cox seemed to be playing as a WB at times. Gotta push men forward if you want to score goals.

Croatia didn't get forward much but at 3-1 why would they? They did look a tad sexy when they did though.

I have no affinity with Ireland but I want them to do well. They're our neighbours and speak the same language as us, we have a lot in common with them. Although I also want Croatia to do well for the very same reason.

I have O level Geography (exams when they were hard).

I suppose I better back down on this one and accept we all love Ireland cos they are part of the British Isles.

I know plenty of people who have nasty experiences in Ireland (more rural areas if I'm honest) because they were English. Hundreds of years of oppression will probably do that to a national psyche.

The Irish I've met over the years have been very pleasant but that doesn't mean I want them to do well in the football :)
