We've not played Preston in my life time. I'm looking forward to that one for sure.

A random useless stat i always pull out about Swindon and Preston is that they are the two current league clubs that have gone the longest without playing each other (with neither dropping out of the league within that time)

We've got a long summer ahead still! :( I am absolutely buzzing for hartlepool + night out in newcastle already so its gonna be an agonising wait!
How is everyone else getting there? A pal of mine and myself are flying from bristol - flights still going at between 50-70 return

It's an interesting fact that the first length of motorway built in  Britain, was the Preston by-pass in 1958. It became incorporated into the M6. It's a bit strange being able to remember the country before motorways, and in the case of the M4 remember seeing it built.

By what definition ?

The fact that it was a two lane motorway.

I think a motorway is defined by statute.  It's to do with which vehicles are permitted to use it (ie not bicycles & pedestrians) more than whether it has a central reservation etc.
