Title: network problem Post by: Kinky Tom on Saturday, April 14, 2012, 20:36:33 so my boss used my laptop at the bar tonight to reset the wifi etc.
now i am showing as 'new-host-4' instead of my laptop's name, my laptop is still recognised in the device management section of the admin for the router but only as an ethernet connection as that is how he connected to reset the router. i am since unable to download torrents and have tried to sort it but i assume it's related. any ideas? if you need me to elaborate i'll try. thanks folks. and ipconfig /renew and ipconfig /flushdns do this first Google how to do it as that will explain better thatn I could at this present time |
