Title: Android phone - blank screen Post by: Ardiles on Sunday, April 1, 2012, 08:54:00 I'm hoping there's a 'blond' answer to this. I have a Samsung Galaxy SII phone, approx one month old. The screen is now completely blank - but the phone does appear to be working because when I call it it rings.
Does anyone have any ideas? If the screen is ####ed, then it's looking terminal, I guess. But I haven't dropped the phone or anything so I'm at a loss to understand why. Thanks. If that doesn't work then I guess its knackered. Any way to reset it back to default with no screen working, just to try to rule out a software issue? Then I guess its back to the retailer/manufacturer for repair. Title: Re: Android phone - blank screen Post by: Ardiles on Sunday, April 1, 2012, 09:09:22 OK...feeling a bit stupid now. I took your advice, and happy to say it's now working again. At least for now.
Thanks to you both. :-[ |
