Title: Computer Fucked? Post by: Langers on Thursday, January 13, 2011, 16:55:24 My laptop won't load.
I can turn it on and the Toshiba screen comes up, it gets passed that and then just stays blank. Anyone know of anything I (who knows fuck all about computers) can try before I take it to someone who knows what they are doing. I can access setup utility and boot options if that helps. Thanks. You could try last known good config..On boot tap the f8 keys and from the options choose last known good config. Try that first Title: Re: Computer Fucked? Post by: Peter Venkman on Thursday, January 13, 2011, 18:01:19 Go into the bios, see if the hard disk is being recognised by the bios, if its not then click on auto to see if it picks it up, if it doesnt then the hard drive is fucked.

Post by: Dazzza on Thursday, January 13, 2011, 19:34:47 Just had a Toshiba laptop fuck up on me as well, could access the BIOS and boot screen but wouldn't load from the HD. It failed to recognise the HD and I had the same problem after getting a replacement drive.
