One of my best presents this year was an alarm clock - phones just have a habit of letting you down when they feel like. Title: Re: Iphone alarm clock Post by: thedarkprince on Saturday, January 1, 2011, 12:07:44 I tend to set two alarms anyway as I don't trust myself with just one. So will they release an update to fix it or is it something the user has to do?

a fatally flawed fad in my humble opinion Title: Re: Iphone alarm clock Post by: axs on Saturday, January 1, 2011, 14:00:11 to silence it you just press the top button?
Agree on the alarm clock which is a pretty pathetic error. Title: Re: Iphone alarm clock Post by: The_Plagiarist on Saturday, January 1, 2011, 14:02:53 which top button? seriously my missus has one and just lets it ring if she doesn't want to answer it
thanks in advance Title: Re: Iphone alarm clock Post by: axs on Saturday, January 1, 2011, 14:04:27 Theres only two buttons, one at the bottom of the screen and one on top of the phone, it's the latter one.

(cos my Mum says I is) Apparently recurring alarms work as do regular alarms on some of the older OS versions. Title: Re: Iphone alarm clock Post by: jutty274 on Saturday, January 1, 2011, 19:41:10 to silence it you just press the top button? To turn the ringer off just flick the switch on the top left hand side of it. ( i phone 3gs )Agree on the alarm clock which is a pretty pathetic error. Title: Re: Iphone alarm clock Post by: axs on Saturday, January 1, 2011, 21:53:05 That puts it on silent, different thing.
Title: Re: Iphone alarm clock Post by: Luci on Sunday, January 2, 2011, 10:58:23 iPhone related but there's also a new free app called Viber which allows free phone calls, local and internationally between iPhones. They're working on doing it for texts too but it's pretty good & sound quality is perfect too.
Title: Re: Iphone alarm clock Post by: Simon Pieman on Sunday, January 2, 2011, 13:30:45 Hasn't Skype been doing that for a while? Plus it's cross-format meaning you can talk to your friends on other phones.
Just be aware that stuff like that uses a lot of data if done over 3g. You could hit your fair usage allowance if you're not careful. |
