....the PO campaign has certainly been good for the TEF....in May 177 new members signed up, compared to 19 a year ago.....there have even been 5 newbies already today.

 Lets hope most hang about and establish themselves....it must be quite difficult getting yourself heard in such circumstances...

alot of those have been oxford, millwall, leeds, reading and bristol city fans mind you.

not that many are rival fans. i've been pretty cuntish on that since saturday and most of the millwall fans managed to get themselves deleted after making a few posts.

there have been some decent new posters recently.some right fucking plonkers too mind

It also shows that when the club's doing well, everything else does well. We used 110GB of outgoing bandwidth in May and about the same the previous month. Earlier in the season there were months when we were doing half that.

I've also been like sonic; keeping a close eye on new posters and the second they say something that i don't like (since Sat) they're gone in a heartbeat. Sometimes before they even post.

I'm one of those who has recently signed up, definitely seems to be better banter on here than some of the limited number of other STFC forums.

Living in London don't have that much interaction with other Town fans so i look forward to having a place to vent my spleen in anguish/annoyance/celebration as time goes on.

It's definitely better on here than it was 6 months or a year ago. There has been a lot going on with the play offs which I suppose is the main factor. Might be a bit dead over the summer. Hope not.

I am new. 

This summer has the potential to be the best summer at the County Ground in bloody ages and I am really looking forward to it, roll on that Open Day and a chance to see that Wiltshire Premier Shield trophy.

It will not be dead on TEF, not in the slightest.

Oh and not fforgetting the delight of Summer of Noughtie Nine coming on here to post about how excited they are about the summer tour of Austria.

That was when Bazza changed the site provider to a different company....created a lot of panic...I got locked out on that day, some might say a good thing.

Nothing like as bad as when KoT was persuaded to ring up Dazza'a old man, after he went missing in strange circumstances with the site crashed.

It might be worth mentioning to newbies, that the site only exists because of the good auspices of Barry Scott and others who moderate...

As one of the band of newbies on here, I have to say that this is the only Town forum worthy of the name. Being isolated in Hertfordshire all I've got for Town news is this forum, the official site & the Adver  :no: (whatever happened to the Trust forum? Did that Gerald bloke drive everyone away? Is this where all the trust folk ended up?). Anyway glad to have discovered this site & congratulations to the various people that made it happen  :clap:

Recent newbie here, chuffed to find a reasonably active forum for town fans. Being exiled in Manchester since I was 9 (now 25) the internet has been a god send when it comes to keeping abreast of news from SN1. As previously stated, certain parts of this site are used for terrorist activities and I'm a recovering weapons dealer. I still smuggle people though, but they get paid well for riding the bikes that power this forum.
