Why do we have to kick off our games early against these chavs...but it's perfectly OK to kick off at Wovers at the normal time?

Gay - that's means a day off work they won't let me have.

Just booked my flights for this one. Thankfully they haven't moved it to Sunday or I would have been screwed!

Every bloody time.

Bastards

One of the boys has an away match in Corsham that won't finish until about noon. It makes it one hell of a dash to get to the ground in time.

I assume as our stadium is pratically in the town centre with lot's of pubs around and with Rovers there are not lot's of pubs close to the ground, stops fan's getting pissed up before the game I suppose

More likely different police forces, different attitudes

I like 1 o'clock kick offs.  I wish all games kicked off at 1.  More drinking time afterwards.  Of course, it's bad news if it fucks up your plans.

They're shit. Means you have to get up earlier if you want to drink before. Rubbish.

Agree 100%.

I rarely surface much before 11 on a Saturday, after a Friday night on the lash. Then it's a very gentle easing into the day...1:00 ko's just aren't worth it.

I think that's the general reaction the police are hoping for!

Of course, but as I live 90 miles I can't drink until I get home, so early is better.

This. I prefer early kick-offs, I'm always in Swindon by 12 anyway, so gives me more of the day to enjoy when I get home. (If we win)

I normally drive to games so only have 1 or 2 anyway.  What would be nice is if we actually got a game televised this season.

Some of the dross they show is ridiculous but cup ties v two permiership teams still didn't earn us any bloody coverage!

On the other hand, our TV performances in the past haven't been up to much so perhaps its not such a good idea!
