Title: fake tobacco Post by: oxford_fan on Monday, October 20, 2008, 14:15:15 my dad has just come back from a wedding in turkey. always one for the bargains, he likes to purchase rolling tobacco in bulk whenever he goes abroad. golden virginia is his brand of choice.
i came home today and he told me he'd been ripped off. it's not golden virginia tobacco in the pouches, instead a cheaper substitute. upon examining the pouches its quite obvious they are fake - poor print quality, wonky logos, off colouring. my dads eyesight is poor at the best of times so its not really surprising that they targeted the glasses-wearing smoker. but to take the biscuit the conmen have had a bit of a laugh and printed: GOLDEN VIRGINIA TOBACCO "a blend of the finest virgina tobaccos" :D Title: Re: fake tobacco Post by: tans on Monday, October 20, 2008, 14:17:33 never buy anything off a turk is the moral of the story

Light said cig and put it in the ashtray to burn, if it burns quickly or starts sparking you will know it is full of arsenic, wood chippings, dust etc. These are six times more lethal to you than your normal coffin nail. |
