 Bit of a shame as it served a purpose in keeping the TEF relatively mong free. The proposal is to have a section in the main Adver forum, which I can only imagine to be horrendous, and have no intention of finding out if this is indeed the case.

 I suppose the TEF will become like a refugee camp  :(

  On a side note read an article today, about the Tories trying to suppress one of their think tank papers, which has arrived at the conclusion that economic decline in several northern cities notably Liverpool and Sunderland was irretrievable.  Not sure what they're proposing to do with them, mind

Just been listening to one of the writers of this report on the radio.Hes suggesting that they all move to London,Oxford and Cambridge.He seems to think 150,000 extra houses should be built on the Outskirts of London for the Northerners.Seems a good idea,I like the idea of deserted cities slowly returning to the wild.

  As long as the norvern ghetto is to the east of Oxford, I don't mind.

It was getting to the point where it was only a matter of time.


I think we'll cope. I always get the impression that most the posts on there come from half a dozen people with a dozen usernames each. And anyway, The Tef seems to bring out the better sides in people even if we do get a mini-influx.

Sounds as if we in the TEF are going to have to assimilate the downtrodden Adver site masses - just as London, Oxford and Cambridge are being asked to accommodate the northern hordes.

This is are asking for users to comment on the proposal. Can I suggest everyone gets over there and begs them to keep it open.

The point is Batch, she'd have had to click on a forum that was entitled

We are looking at moving thisisswindontownfc.co.uk into the Swindon Advertiser website. This would mean this forum would disappear and fans would have to use the current forum on the Adver site. We want to know how you would feel about this - would you still use the new forum if this were to happen?"

Says it all really, what else is there to be confused, in the dark, not sure of.

Without thisis forum, this site probably would never existed and everyone here probably wouldn't know each other. Even though thisis forum isn't the same as it was, it would be quite sad to see it go.
