I don't like the way it's at the bottom. It should be between General Discussion and NSFW seeing as its gonna be more popular than the NSFW and PYC forums. I might be exceptionally lazy but I just don't like having to scroll down that little bit further to get here.

Chandana's making his debut tomorrow. We might start doing something useful. Wouldn't count on it though.

It's a bit of a shocker I'll give us that.

yeah but i dont want to. it would fit so snugly below General Discussion

'the fella on the left' hasn't got the worst ODI record I've ever seen (10 matches, 21 with the bat, 28 with the ball)

Not as good as Somersets 20/20 shirt last year. That's the best cricket shirt I ever seen. Just a pitty they didn't bring it out.

Somerset's new coach stated before the season that 'Gloucestershire are our role models'  8)

Somerset's batting is too inconsistent and the bowling is full of over the hill moaning gits (okay the second bit 'moaning git' probably only refers to Caddick)

Not the top divisions in either leagued comp...but with 3 up and down in a 9 team league its quite a fluid situation.

Your favourite player is Ian Blackwell, who despite being a hugely talented player prefers the social side to athletic dedication...and so is in an honourable tradition of lardarses who biff sixes but don't really achieve.

blackwell talented?! hahaha

he only scores runs because he plays at taunton (for those who don't know, the pitch is a batsman's paradise and the boundaries are tiny)

"If they want me down to 12 stone, I would have to cut off a leg"

Didn't he muster a hundred on a dank seaming pitch at Old Trafford only last week.

PS I could happily support Gloster......but they play in Bristol which is not Gloster.

it was a hundred years ago and it is now. i know it wasnt for a while, but the rejigging off the county boundaries a few years back has left Bristol in South Gloucestershire

The City of Bristol has never been in Glostershire.....some of the outer suburbs have encroached into Glostershire.....look at the cartographer Moule in the mid 19th Century, he lists Glostershire as having one city.....Gloster.

Boeta...........shut up!   (you have mostly got a point though)

Somerset are going to face a long season as we don't have any bloody bowlers!! but you know we have jaysuriya at the mo and hes crap. hit 9, 11 and 13 so far...woopdedoodah! but soon we'll have Graham Smith so hopefuly he shall prove to be better! and might get some runs

and yes Blackwell is fat, and slogs and hits alot of runs when he gets going thats why he has had england call ups which has thrown away stuidly! so i don't care aslong as he hits runs!

Yeovil... Sabres is Somerset's one-day league and Twenty20 Cup nickname. The Shire's is Gladiators, Surrey's Lions etc.
